  1. Maria D.:

    Thanks for the review…I’ve heard mixed things about this book so I’m not really surprised you didn’t like it as much as the first book.

  2. Nat:

    It’s true, some people love it thinking it’s like the older JQ novels, other think she’s gone a bit dark with this one or that she lost her way. I simply didn’t enjoy it as much as I usually do! But I gess you’d have to read and see for yourself ;)

    Then, of course, let me know your thoughts about it!

  3. Gaby:

    Thanks! I have read several mixed reviews, I think I’ll still read it.

  4. Nat:

    Cool =)

  5. Stephanie:

    Meh sorry you were disappointed by this one. Julia Quinn’s novels are usually brilliant but I’ve found a few that’ve fallen flat too. Thanks for your thoughtful review (:

  6. Amy S.:

    I just loved the Bridgerton novels; the scenes with the Smith-Smythe musicales always made me smile. I think I’ll still give this one a try. I’ve been reading a lot of YA lately, but sometimes I miss historical romance. I think its time to switch it up again.
