SEXUAL CONTENT:
Attention, this doesn’t reflect my opinion about the book, it’s simply a code used to alert the reader on what he may (or not) expect.

Call the Firefighters!
Sex is the primary focus. The details are thoroughly graphic, and may explore some boundaries and taboos.
Ex: Lora Leigh, Angela Knight and Erotica titles.

I See Fireworks!
The love scenes are longer and more graphic (at least 3 of them), and some of them are left to the imagination. The book has a focus on sexual feelings and desires.
Ex: Julia Quinn, Lisa Kleyplas, most historical romances, HarlequinTemptations/Blazes and Silhouette Desires titles.

Burning Hot!
A couple of love scenes. Much is left to the imagination and uses euphemistic “code words.” Its focused on feelings and emotions.
Ex: Nora Roberts, Harlequin American Romance and Silhouette Special Edition titles.

Is it getting hot in here?
Kissing and touching, but no explicit scenes. Physical romance is implied or described using general terms.
Ex: The Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead and other YAs titles.

Where’s the fire?
Kisses only.
Ex: Harlequin Romance and Silhouette Romance titles.
