Fiery Pursuit by Jean Hart Stewart + Giveaway

Guest Post

Yay, I love to talk about love and romance! I write stories about this, the most powerful force in the world, and hope it comes true for all of you.

authorHere’s my personal story. This was when I was young, a long time ago. A very nice guy, but one who didn’t appeal to me asked me for several dates and I turned him down. So when he phoned me to say his brother wanted to meet me I assumed either it was either a setup or that the brother wouldn’t interest me. So I dodged, saying I had to go to the library.

This all took place at Ohio State University, a large campus and definitely not the best excuse I could have come up with. Brother replied fine, they’d meet me there. At this point I started getting a little nervous, so talked a girl friend into going with me for having them take me home.

When we got to the library, the two brothers walked down the twelve foot wide library steps to the first floor. I can still shut my eyes and see them coming. I thought my future mate was the handsomest man I’d ever seen, and I still do. DH-to-be asked me to go to the drugstore for a coke, and cursing myself I had to decline since I had my friend to consider. On the way home, I told her I’d just met the man I was going to marry. She laughed, but let me tell you he didn’t have a chance, Poor about to be married dear. A determined woman is gonna win every time.

Now for the tie-in. I want my stories to always have a happy ending, and so they always do. Fiery Pursuit is a new series on sexy, pointed-eared Elves. They also traditionally fall in love immediately and for their lifetime. The series is my first venture into erotica. Write me at jswriter@earthlink.net if you want more excerpts. I love to communicate with readers.

Sophie’s plans to follow in her mathematician father’s footsteps are destroyed when she witnesses his murder at the hands of his professional rival. The killer, realizing he can profit from her virginity, sells her into slavery—but it doesn’t take long for the handsome, powerful Lars to set his sights on Sophie and orchestrate her freedom with the help of his elven magic.

With her virginity so desired by traders, Sophie asks Lars to take it from her, and during their trip back to his home in England, he teaches her the pleasures of her body, sex and the connection they share. Completely in love, Lars wants to marry her, but Sophie has vengeance on the brain and can think of nothing but facing the man who murdered her father.

Lars, however, will not give up so easily…

If elves fall in love so quickly, how do you manage to handle the tension; the romantic build-up? That must be a challenge.

Thanks for your post. I also think laptop computers have become more and more popular these days, and now tend to be the only sort of computer used in a household. It is because at the same time they are becoming more and more very affordable, their computing power keeps growing to the point where there’re as powerful as desktop computers through just a few in years past.

  19. Jorge Buder

Prior to the widespread use of microprocessors, a computer that could fit on a desk was considered remarkably small. Early personal computers, like the IBM PC, were “desktop” machines, with a horizontally oriented computer case, usually intended to have the display screen placed on top to save space on the desktop. In modern usage the word “desktop” usually refers to tower cases that are in fact more often located on the floor under the desk than on a desk.:.
